As I work in professional environment all week, as weekend hits - I think COMFORT! Esp when its cold and rainy out! I wore this as it was raining on a saturday afternoon as my family had scheduled store visits to look at new furniture BECAUSE..... we are moving to a new house in like 2-3 weeks! Pain to move to be honest.
But I also did something this weekend to my closet as I started packing away more stuff. I am taking my trashy /unorganized closet and turning it into a DIVA Closet! What is DIVA closet - a closet that works for you, your needs and for those days when you hear this voice in your head "I have NOTHING to wear". Its work in progress, once its done - I will do a post and reveal some diva closet SECRETS!
If you sense some excitement, be sure to leave a comment/ suggestion on what is your best tip to organize a closet?
I've been organizing my closet, and I decided to organize by color instead of type of garment. It's working pretty well so far.
ReplyDeleteI really like that green sweater with the top. Nice contrast.
Very fun!!!!! I just reorganized my clothes... but I wouldn't call it a diva closet. :)
ReplyDeleteEverything is organized by color and category which makes it a bit easier to see what I have.
hahah your "comfort" is still way cute. As far as closet organization, I've got nothing! I need to get some tips myself!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE to organize so here's a link to my most recent closet organizing post: http://www.casualchickiki.com/2010/11/organizing.html
ReplyDeleteHowever, I will be posting some new shots of my clothing organization in a a week and a half. I organize by type of clothing and then by color. It's super easy to find what I need that way. If you click on the "closet" and "organize" tags on my blog you can see other ways I've organized closets and jewelry too. Good luck and happy organizing!
BTW love the bright green cardi, especially with polka-dots!
lovely blouse!!!

I love the color of your cardi. I use lots of hangers that allow you to hang more than one item of clothing. My house was built in the 40's, so the closets are tiny.
ReplyDeleteHey Nav, I have an invite for you, email me at dressmedearly[at]gmail.com
