Fall*ing in Orange

I got this orange jacket last year and I think this color will be IN every fall, so I am glad I invested in this piece.

Tshirt: Wal-mart ($3), Skirt: Smart Set ($8), Heels: Shoe Warehouse ($10), Jacket: H&M (last year) - $30, Necklace: Wal-mart ($3), Gold Studs: F21 ($2)

September has always been my favorite month of the year for me. Growing up, it was favourite month bec it is my birthday month. When I moved to canada, it was favourite bec the trees would be changing into beautiful colors. In university, it was my favorite month bec Ryan (my hubby) and I dating annuversary was in that month. Well, this year is no different. I love fall time still....for the changing colors, my birthday and reminiscing memories of us dating (now that we are married). But more of the fashion now........more than ever! Shopping Malls are a very exciting place to be in right now!!!

What is your favourite season?

My most versatile dress (& I got the job!)

Dress: George via Wal-mart ($15), Blazer: H&M ($20), Nude Heels: Shoe Warehouse sale ($15)

I know alot of girls swear by their LBD's and I love by black dress too, but this is my by far most worn dress till date. Its so versatile...I have worn it all sorts of ways and still had not worn it with a white blazer. Even though I call this is fall dress bec of the fall colors in here, I think I liked it with a white on top.

Wore this as I started my first day at my new job! and things went well. Here is what I wore for my interview :)

Stripes and Wine (& Interview outfit)

Top: F21 ($7), Blazer: F21 (hand me downs), Skirt: CLEO ($20), Pumps: Steve Madden via Winners ($25), Watch: Fossil (gift)

I wore this to my interview recently, for a position I wanted to go into confidently so I put on my stripes shirt, a classic black blazer with an unexpected berry/wine pencil skirt. I think it always important to make a impression when  going for interviews if you dress up a little, show your personality while still being conservative.

Dressing good and feeling confident not only makes a good impression the moment they see you, it also helps you to answer the questions confidently. This was for a office based industry interview for a professional role in a municipality.

Would you wear this to an interview?

Peach Blazer (aaaaaaaaand I am back!)

Yes, I havent posted in a while.....and it feels like a long time. Our wedding reception went great! It was everything we had dreamed of, weather was beautiful, family and friends gathered to celebrate together.

This is what I wore on Monday - yesterday outfit to work. I recently bought this peach blazer at H&M and I just love this color for this summer. I already have 5 outfits planned with this outfit, so don't mind if I post too many outfit ideas with this blazer! :)

Blazer: H&M ($34.95), Tshirt - Urban Planet ($4), Pants: H&M ($20), Necklace: Walmart ($4), Studs: Joe Fresh ($5), Heels - Payless ($15 ~ old), Watch: Fossil (gift)

Oh yeah, waiting on reception photos for now, as soon as I have them in, I will show you guys what I wore!

Last week it was my man's birthday! I love him so much We started the day with breakfast in bed as he worked late the night before then took him out for lunch at this fancy place - we always talked about going there, but never did. Well what better occassion than celebrating husband's birthday?

I wore this silky blouse of mine with a black rest of the outfit bec I had important meetings all day. I reach for this top alot, its bright color, soft, I got it for so cheap- what is there not to love?

Hope you have a good start of the week :) Thanks for stopping by! :)

I swear it is purple!

The top looks navy blue, but its purple in real. I paired it against black blazer and my thrifted pants with the light necklace, makes for a fun pop of color.

Top: Thrifted ($4), Blazer: H&M ($20 - old), Necklace: Wal-mart ($3), Pants: Costa Blanca ($10), Watch: Fossil (Gift), Bracelet: from India ($3)

I first went thrifting this weekend and found the top there and then went to wal-mart and found the following goodies and the necklace. The necklace is sooo cute and it was on sale - it was $3 only! Wow, what a steal! :)

Trying out the new Garnier BB cream, Hard Candy Primer and NYC Red Plum Lip Stain after a suggestion from one of the readers. Do you use any of these products?

A Beautiful Thought

You know this morning I read on someone's blog saying that: In a marriage, make sure you compete for compromises. It makes sense but we live in such a self-centred world, that would definitely serve as a great reminder for once we are married.

Between Ryan and I, when we share our meals with brocolli - none of us eats the last brocolli piece bec even though we both love brocolli, we want the other person to have it bec get IMMENSE satisfaction if the other one has it. Sometimes that creates a scene in a resturant, but we don't care.

I know this isn't a BIG compromise but still......

Back to Neutrals

Striped Tee: F21 ($7), Grey Skinnies: CostaBlanca ($6), Blazer: thrifted ($4), Scarf: F21 ($4)

Now that christmas festivities are over, I felt like being really low-maintenance and dressing in neautrals. As much as colors are wonderful to wear, there is something soothing about wearing just neutrals. This look is totally something easy to put together and head out the door in a rush. Boots, skinny pants and a blazer would do it for those work days.

My friends engagement party is in 2 days, then it is the new years eve party, and then bridal shower is also coming up soon! I am loving all the wedding goodness!

Also, past due are some of the photos from the bachelorette (some people e-mailed me wanting to see photos - so here they are!) - Enjoy!

me with a dear friend of mine! :)

Getting pimped up!

In a fun-Limo ride with my girls!

Dance-Baby-Dance

What are you wearing for New Years Eve??

Bright Mondays - Part 4!

Bag and Top: H&M, Boots: Steve Madden, Pants: GAP, Jewellery: F21, Coat: URBAN

The shopping ban for November is done. If you want to see how I did, be sure to checkout last month's outfit roundup and let me know how I did.

I wore the above outfit this weekend to get some xmas shopping done. I paired turquoise top with my tan blazer and paired it with some gold jewellery. We are keeping things low-key with xmas shopping this year as everyone is saving up for the wedding in India. Wow, just about 60-70 days till we go and get married in btwn family and friends.

My bachelorette (SURPIRSE party I should mention) is coming up in 2 weeks too, cant wait to see what girls are cooking. I dont know anything, nada....sometimes you just gotta enjoy life through moments like this, where other loved ones take over and deliver. I am greatful to have such loving people in my life :)

Any ideas on what to wear to MY Bachelorette Party? Never been to one.

Hope you had an awesome weekend. Thank you for stopping by!
