Blue has always been one of my favourite colors. In high school, most of my closet was blue. The walls in my bedroom were blue. The table cloth on my study table was blue also. Yeah you guessed it, I love blue roses. Little fact: My husband asked me out with a blue rose 9 years ago! :)

People, I love this polka dot navy trench I recently picked up! Navy, trench, polka dots. A girl just can't ask for more. I have been wearing this trench to work non-stop for the past week.  Its just felt natural to pair it with my blue H&M pleated top.

As temperatures are falling in Edmonton, I am getting excited about layering again. Summer is all about shedding those layers, but the possibility of making new outfits, using those transitioning summer pieces into fall again...makes me excited to get out a fashion rut and get into it again. Do you know what I am saying?

Fall*ing in Orange

I got this orange jacket last year and I think this color will be IN every fall, so I am glad I invested in this piece.

September has always been my favorite month of the year for me. Growing up, it was favourite month bec it is my birthday month. When I moved to canada, it was favourite bec the trees would be changing into beautiful colors. In university, it was my favorite month bec Ryan (my hubby) and I dating annuversary was in that month. Well, this year is no different. I love fall time still....for the changing colors, my birthday and reminiscing memories of us dating (now that we are married). But more of the fashion now........more than ever! Shopping Malls are a very exciting place to be in right now!!!

What is your favourite season?

Just when you think it is fall, summer comes around..........

Who doesn't like the last few more days of summer to enjoy. I am loving it! September, where I live usually trees start changing colors and the leaves are falling and the breeze is a little chilly. But mr. sun decided to warm it up today! and I didn't mind.......

Happy Hump Day!

A little late on the trend....but better late than never right?

Striped Chiffon Shirt: F21 ($10), Pants: Suzy Shier ($15), Blazer: Thrifted via Value Village, Flats: Payless - old ($10)

As you all know I recently started a new job, I was quite apprehensive about wearing red jeans for my casual friday. I sat quietly at the office until my boss called me "Trend setter". Out of all people, I did not expect my boss to come around and say something about MY.RED.PANTS!

Well tsk, tsk! its better than her freaking out on me I supposse! I sweat-ed the small stuff all morning and I asked my hubby like 3 times if I should wear them or not. He somehow convinced me it still looks conservative.
