Hot Pink and Nude

Ruffled Tank: Suzy Shier ($5), Blazer: F21 ($15), Heels: Shoe Warehouse Sale ($13), Pants: Smart Set ($25), Watch: Fossil (gift)

I really don't enjoy the weather man changing his weather news on me. I sometimes used to pick out my clothes the night before since I cant think in the morning when I am getting ready. But recently, I check the weather in the morning and it says thunderstorm - rain and so I change my clothes again. But then during the day, its sunny out. What the heck, bud/?

Thats my rant of the day, I love summer too much I guess :P

Hope you are all having an awesome week so far!

The Red Piano

My good-looking hubby!

Dress: H&M ($25 with a coupoun), Heels: $15 (Shoe Warehouse sale), Watch: Fossil, Flower in hair: Forever 21 ($3), Ring: Forever 21 ($5)

Me and my husband went out wit another couple to the Red Piano here in our city. I am not sure if this resturant is also in USA or other cities in Canada, but they have resturant, live piano concert which turns into a club later on in the night. We were out there for a total of 5 hours and we dressed up for the occassion!

I got this dress couple of weeks ago and love it for summer, it can be dressed up with some funky heels or can also be dressed down with a pair of sandals.

Hope you all had a great weekend! <3

Neon at the Office

Neon blouse: Dynamite ($6), Skirt: RICKIs ($15), Pumps: Payless ~ old ($15), Watch: Fossil (gift), Bangels: F21 ($3)

You heard it right, I rocked neon for the office look this week. As I started my new job, I stuck to the standard rule for the first 2 days - dress and a blazer. Third day, I decided to show some personality by wearing neon. Got some looks and some compliments - overall it went ok.

Got this shirt for $6 only, what a steal. I am being extremely lucky with bargains lately.
Happy Friday!!!!!!

My most versatile dress (& I got the job!)

Dress: George via Wal-mart ($15), Blazer: H&M ($20), Nude Heels: Shoe Warehouse sale ($15)

I know alot of girls swear by their LBD's and I love by black dress too, but this is my by far most worn dress till date. Its so versatile...I have worn it all sorts of ways and still had not worn it with a white blazer. Even though I call this is fall dress bec of the fall colors in here, I think I liked it with a white on top.

Wore this as I started my first day at my new job! and things went well. Here is what I wore for my interview :)

Mint and Florals

Top: H&M ($13.95), Skirt: Gorge via WalMart ($15), Nude Heels: Shoe Warehouse sale ($13)

Both top and the skirt are newly purchased items and I love the pieces alone and always end up wearing them seperately. I wore them together last week work look and it looked magical together, an outfit I will definitely be repeating this summer.

I love this new nude heels I bought - something finally matching to my skin tone.

Crazy for Colorblocking

Shirt: Suzy Sheir (Canadian store - $8), Jean Skirt: GAP (thrifted via Value Village - $7), Shoes: Shoe WareHouse sale ($15), Watch: Fossil (gift), Earrings: gift

Golden Girl

Top: H&M ($14.95), White Lace Skirt: Suzy Shier ($10), Handbag: Zellers ($15), Sandals: Aldo ($9), Aviator Sunglasses: Forever XXI ($5), Earrings: Forever XXI ($3)

My hubby called me a golden girl as we were heading out this weekend for a BBQ party - pig roast and beer! Had a great time!

Hope you had an awesome weekend! :D

My hubby called me a golden girl when I wore this outfit this weekend to go to a friends BBQ! :)

Green Crochet and Jean Skirt

Green Crochet Tank: Joe Fresh ($6), White shirt: Thrifted ($3), Jean Skirt: GAP (thrifted via Value Village - $7), Sandals: Forever 21 ($8), Bracelet: URBAN ($10)

I recently found my jean skirt - one I thrifted 2 years ago! I love this one, perfect for summer. Decided to pair my crochet green tank and layered it with this white sheer shirt over it. Usually in the summer, I dont want to wear too many layers but this one wasn't bad as I was only running errands on the weekend. Cute and comfortable!

Happy Hump Day :D

Summer Blue and Pleats

Top: Wal-mart ($8), Skirt: Suzy Sheir ($7), bracelet: borrowed from mom, Sandals: Aldo -very old - $8, hoops: gift from mom-in-law

I finally own a pleats skirt, I had my eye on this skirt ever since spring. Best things come to those that wait - I usually dont like this quote bec I like to take action and not wait, but I can wait when it comes to clothes.

Hope you had a fantastic weekend! We are having very warm weather here in western part of canada, i love it!

Stripes and Wine (& Interview outfit)

Top: F21 ($7), Blazer: F21 (hand me downs), Skirt: CLEO ($20), Pumps: Steve Madden via Winners ($25), Watch: Fossil (gift)

I wore this to my interview recently, for a position I wanted to go into confidently so I put on my stripes shirt, a classic black blazer with an unexpected berry/wine pencil skirt. I think it always important to make a impression when  going for interviews if you dress up a little, show your personality while still being conservative.

Dressing good and feeling confident not only makes a good impression the moment they see you, it also helps you to answer the questions confidently. This was for a office based industry interview for a professional role in a municipality.

Would you wear this to an interview?

Peach Glow

Top: Smart Set ($10), Skirt: RICKI's ($15), Pumps: Steve Madden, Watch: Fossil (gift), Necklace: Wal mart($3)

If there is ever a day I want to feel sophisticated - i reach for a pencil skirt. I love the fit, brown color of this one alot, different choice than a typical black skirt. It also goes perfectly with a number of my tops. I decided to pair it with this peach glowing blouse -one of pastels shirts I bought this summer. I love this top, its billowy sleeves and the lace detail on the shoulder.

Hope you all are enjoying the summer!
