Guys, I have major hair problems and by major i mean - hair falling in tremendous amounts, very dry hair. So two months ago I decided to go all natural and took on a self-imposed hair challenge - do not use hot tools for 2 months. But this morning, my hair wasnt behaving so we straightened it. I think I kinda deserved it. You guys need to give healthy hair tips?
Tonight after work R and I went to R's parents to discuss details about the wedding here in Canada (I will do a post about that on the weekend). I am actually excited about the wedding here NOW, weird right? I cant believe it..I mean I was just mourning few days ago! Anywho I am not complaining anymore and moving the heck on..
Thank you all new and current readers for stopping by and let me know what you think of my outfit. Bec i literally took outfit # 11 and switched things up to make this outfit. Freak I feel good for putting it together!

I love that all you had to do with this outfit was layer it differently from #11.

Cute skirt! Love the color and pattern. Healthy hair tips: good quality shampoo and conditioner, Moroccan oil, moisturizing mask a couple times a week for dry hair. Since I've changed to salon-quality products, I have spent a little more, but now I have a regimen that really works instead of putting money into worthless products over and over again. Also, get your hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks to keep it nice and healthy (even if you're trying to keep it long or grow it out).
ReplyDeleteLove love love your skirt! What a great pattern. And your flowers in your yard look really pretty too!

awww you're doing so great with the 30 for 30 remix!! You're close to being half-done :D Regarding hair tips, I've always had really healthy hair and I always stress this: heat will ruin your hair. You're doing great by taking this avoiding challenge! I find just letting my hair airdry does make it a bit frizzy, but its much healthier than when I did straighten it every day (in high school). I'm def anti-heat :D HTH
ReplyDeleteTwo words. Moroccan Oil. Get the real stuff. It's expensive but you only need a few drops. It's also great for elbows, knees, cuticles, etc. I got mine at Sephora. http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P218700&categoryId=B70 The little half oz bottle lasted me a few months.
ReplyDeleteI love the back drop you used. The flowers really make the picture brighter. Good luck with the wedding planning! I was not much of a planner but I love hearing others stories!
ReplyDeleteI totally hear you on hair issues. I have had similar problems. I went organic and started using organic shampoo (Castille liquid soap). Now my hair no longer falls out in clumps (yay, I don't have to fear going bald :)). It is still a curly, frizzy, mess though. I guess you can't have it all.
ReplyDeleteI've heard rosemary essential oil mixed in olive oil is good for using as pre shampoo conditioning and helps growth. I should take my own advice.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, how it is the same two pieces as before and how it looks so very different.
I adore this outfit, it's so cute.
ReplyDeleteFollowing you.

ReplyDeleteP.S. This is a dress I am wearing, not a skirt. Love how multi-functional a dress can be.
