Coral in Winter...yes please! (WIWW)

Pants: GAP, Shirt: Rickis, Belt and Cardigan: Thrifted, Necklace: Le Chateau

The wedding is just under 3 months away and it all kinda feels like a dream! My family talks about how fast this time will go, you know with tonnes of planning still left to do. To make time go by even faster, I am hearing that I will soon be going to my bachelorette party like in few weeks and then it will be christmas and I LOVE christmas and a bridal shower in January. I feel so spoiled! 2 weddings in 2 different countries, get to celebrate 2 different cultures - best of both worlds right? I guess this is what I deserve after 2 years of sleepless nights fighting to be with my love for the rest of our lives. Someone wisely said...no pain, no gain...I believe it.

Anyways on the outfit, I just had to wear this bright color to the office to escape the cold. I just love the crochet detailing on the blouse and I paired with this leafy necklace that my mom picked up for me the other day (since I am on a shopping ban, I guess she felt bad for me! - I love it, thanks mother!)

How are you dressing to escape the cold?

Fall Staple

Anyone else like plaid these days? I sure am and it is gonna be my staple for fall and winter in coming months. I love this jacket, you insert some color with it and you pretty much look chic. For a change in jeans, I paired it with black instead of blue jeans. I am always tempted to pair this blazer with coral tones, but so far I have paired it with coral, mustard and teal here. Lets see what other colors I can pair it with.

What colors would you pair this blazer with? Let me know below.

Halloween treat

This is my halloween treat, SMARITES! I love them, I didnt dress up this year but ate alot of candy. I tried not to have too many, but I did. You know what I heard on the news that candies that come in smaller pkgs, people are more likely to eat more of them versus having way less if the candy was in a bigger packaging. Interesting, no? I agree with it, I am guilty! I have done it.

Anywho, moving to the outfit. I am in love with this outfit. I just love how color coordinated it is. My last post on how many cardi's I have, I almost thought I am crazy for collecting so many. But reading from your comments, I fugred I am not the only one. I love my new Steve Maddy boots (I have a feeling I am gonna wear these boots lots, not only are they warm, but also go with alot of things!)

What is your favourite Halloween Candy?

Gingham in Birmingham

I am wearing Gingham and I have never been to Birmingham! The title makes no sense, but it rhymed. I love styling this gingham shirt, it is so versatile, works well under blazers for business look, pair it with just a cardi or just by itself with jeans for a casual look. My mind kinda goes crazy styling this shirt in my mind.  I really liked the way Audrey styled it 10 ways here. I also look forward to using it as layers in the coming cold winter!

Happy Thursday, folks!! almost TGIF! :D

Do you love Gingham prints you have?

Fall Trend: Berry Hues

It rained last week and when it rains in fall - that means cold. I checked the weather and it was predicted to be just beautiful with mr. sun shining...I knew it was time to wear my berry skirt.

I loved this look, even I have been dressing for days - I havent really been feeling like I have been making an effort to get ready in the morning. I haven't been feeling full on energy past few days but this morning I got to sleep in (thank god!) and then I "got ready". The color of the skirt is just perfect for fall, isn't it?

I am also linking up at WIWW partay! =)

Pink Ruffles and Sequins

Pants: GAP, Shirt and Cardigan: Old Navy, Belt: Thrifted

The look can be transformed with a simple skinny black belt

Love the glitter detail on the cardigan

Cardigans with glitter on it are so pretty. They are so festive like you can throw them on when going to a party or wear it out to a special dinner out. I put this look together inspired from cute Corrine - this is the way she wore it at the Lookbook.

I am a good copycat. I am craving getting some navy and mustard tights today. I am also linking up at the Pleated Poppy.

Lunch Kits are so remixable! (WIWW)

Top: F21, Cardi: RICKIs, Pants: GAP, Neckalce, Ring: Ardene's, Lunch Kit: Wal-Mart

I love this lunch kit! It was my mom's but I totally stole it. Its leopard, cute, can be carried as a purse for all that I know. Now isn't thist the most multi-functional lunch kit ever! Shhh only you guys know it is a lunchkit, for rest of the world...it is a cute looking leopard bag! I am seeing leopard in almost anything this year and I am looking forward to wearing so much more of leopard pattern this fall and winter.

I am linking at WIWW posts today!

Is your lunch kit mutli-functional?

Who has oatmeal for lunch? I do.

Pants: GAP, Shoes: Steve Madden, Shirt: Forever 21, Blazer: Thrifted

I wore this as I went out with a friend last night out for dinner. Leopard and red are becoming my new favourites!

I had oatmeal for lunch today, I will spare you the reasoning behind it. I eat breakfast food for lunch and dinner now a days; Like 2 days ago, I decided to make pancakes for dinner. Breakfast food tastes alot better at night time, try it out sometime :) Its a nice way to break up usual routine ;)

I am linking at WIWW at Pleated Poppy today!

What other colors you think go well with leopard print??

WIWW - Cool Look

Doesnt look like much.

Top: H&M  |  Skirt: Thrifted  |  Shoes: Steve Madden  |  Belt: Gift

Seems like this week is going to be full of compliments! Monday we had the sexy look, and tuesday was "you look nice and girly" and Wednesday I present you with a "Cool look" which is what Mr. Fiancee intreprets it as...I  thrifted this white pencil skirt back in May and it fits me like a glove, makes me feel so feminine.

Mind you, my current work doesn't require me to be so dressed up. But I do it, out of my own will. Being dressed up makes me feel like a) Happy because I am dressed up important b) I am productive bec I feel good about myself c) It makes easy transistion into after-work social events d) Lets me be creative the night before (bec I have now started creating outfits the nightty before!

Who knew there would be so many positivities out of getting dressed! =)

Do you feel empowered by the way you dress?
